Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Subscription Terms

When you subscribe to a meal plan, you agree to:

• Pay the subscription fee as specified by the restaurant
• Receive meals according to the plan's schedule (weekly or monthly)
• Provide accurate delivery information and dietary restrictions
• Be available to receive deliveries during scheduled times

Billing and Payments

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly or monthly). You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees. If payment fails, we may suspend or terminate your subscription.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to each restaurant's refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

Restaurant Obligations

As a restaurant partner, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your meal plans and business
• Prepare meals according to described specifications and dietary requirements
• Deliver meals on schedule and in good condition
• Maintain food safety and quality standards
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues
• Comply with all applicable food service regulations and licenses

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. You must maintain an active Stripe account in good standing. Preppable charges a platform fee on each transaction as agreed in your restaurant onboarding.

Restaurant Liability

Restaurants are solely responsible for food quality, safety, and compliance with health regulations. Preppable is a platform provider and is not liable for restaurant actions or meal quality.

Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Preppable and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (meal descriptions, photos, reviews). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with the Service.

Service "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Preppable shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (including Stripe). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

SMS Notifications

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages from Preppable regarding your orders, deliveries, subscriptions, and account activity. Consent is not required to use the Service.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on your subscription activity (typically 2-8 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan. We do not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

Opting Out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your notification preferences. For more information, see our SMS Policy.

Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to receive meals through the end of your paid subscription term.

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled according to each restaurant's individual refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws. Generally:

• Refunds for quality issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
• Missed deliveries may be eligible for refund or credit
• Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started
• Exceptions may be made at the restaurant's discretion or as required by law

Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, contact the restaurant directly through our support system or reach out to Preppable support at support@preppable.app. We will work with the restaurant to resolve the issue.

Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute, please contact us first at contact@preppable.app to attempt to resolve the issue informally.

Arbitration

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except as otherwise provided by applicable consumer protection laws.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
